Some photos from my Birthday Adventures yesterday to Victoria Falls and Mount York.

I can confirm my legs feel like jelly today. It’s one of the biggest hikes I have been on with such a steep gradient.

Ok, I wasn’t really ghost hunting, but I definitely wanted to see and feel the places I had been rea Meeting Henry Lawson in Grenfell on 10/1/2022. On the 10 January 2022 I decided to do a little road trip out west starting in Bathurst my first stop was Grenfell making my way over to Forbes then across to Eugowra and Orange then back home to Bathurst.

Yesterday afternoon I went over to Eglinton to take my dog for a swim in the Macquarie River beside the old structure of the Rankin Bridge. It really is a beautiful spot to go swimming and it was great to see so many loca 📍Saint Barnabas Anglican Church Rocket Street, South Bathurst.

On the 23 February 2014 Saint Barnabas Anglican Church was destroyed by a fire after an arsonist deliberately lit a fire in the historic building. On the 10 March 2017 the Western Advoc 📍 Molong Stores, 40 Bank Street

On 30 December 2021 I drove out to Molong and I found the beautiful Molong Stores located in a stunning 1876 heritage building in the main street. It harks back to the original store, which sold haberdashery, ironmon So the Christmas decorations are packed up until next December so I have spent the day putting all the boxes at the back of the store room and moving the heaters to the front ready to grab for winter.
I will enjoy the rest of my summers holidays read Today I picked up my new Nikon camera from the helpful staff at @thecompletecamerahouse a gift from my family for Christmas and my birthday (as my birthday is early January). So I thought I would go check out Molong, NSW for the first time. 
Here are Bathurst became and still is the “gateway to the west” by road and the Denison Bridge is an important element of that history.
